Community Swims and Skating
Admission is free for Ottewell Community League members during the community swim times at Hardisty and Boonie Doon pools.    Please check the  City of Edmonton website – or phone 311 for the scheduled community swim times.  Cost of multi-pass purchases (10+ visits) are also reduced with an Ottewell Community League membership.  A schedule for Free Public Skating at indoor arenas is available on the City of Edmonton website -  Click here to see the rink information for outdoor skate times.

Ottewell Exercise Room
Ottewell Community  Members (aged 16 and older) can work out at Ottewell Junior High School, Tuesday  and Thursday nights (September – June), from 7:00 - 8:45 pm for a toonie. Ottewell Community League Memberships must be shown for admittance. Waivers are required before use of facility is permitted.

Monday Nights - ZUMBA - Comes back to Ottewell ,

September 11 - December 4th 7:00 - 8:00 pm

This 12 week exciting energetic fun filled session , is a great way to get some exercise while having fun! Registration will be accepted at the first class Monday September 11 at 6:30 . Ottewell Community Members fee will be $100 and non Community Members $120.

Thursday Nights - Beginner Yoga - October 5th – November 23rd

7:00 - 8:30 pm

This  8 week Beginner hatha yoga class is the perfect introduction to a gentle, sustainable yoga practice. It will help you develop balance, strength and and a mind body connection without feeling overwhelmed. In this class we will take our time to get into postures, focusing on the basics of hatha yoga. We will take extra time to work through poses to help release the stress that tends to mount over the week. We will combine yoga postures and breathing exercises to strengthen the body and mind, increase flexibility, mobility and to reduce stress and calm the mind. No yoga experience is required.

Registration - Saturday September 16 at our Membership Fair from 9:00am to 11:00am

Cost for this 8 week class $65.00 for Ottewell Community Members and $75.00 for non members.

Membership Fair
Held every September, the Membership Fair allows you to purchase your annual Community League Membership while checking out programs available for you and your family right here in your community!

Senior’s Harvest Tea
Our Senior’s Harvest Tea is held each fall for our pie-loving Ottewell seniors. Members will be treated to Harvest delights and an afternoon enjoying the company of friends and neighbours. Look for more information on this event in the Southeast Voice and on our blog.

Each year Ottewell Community League Hall hosts a Family Day Event during the Family Day Weekend.
